IN MOCEAN is a not for profit organisation based in Germany that helps communities in remote coastal areas to set up small-scale plastic recycling workspaces. The aim is to keep plastic out of nature and create an incentive to remove it from nature at the same time. In cooperation with a suitable local organisation, we set up the infrastruture for decentralized recycling that has a positive impact for the local population on three levels: economical, ecological and social.

We have a fleet of sailing recycling ambassadors that visit remote communities to create awareness about the potential of small-sacle recycling. With the help of mobile recycling machines, they show the transformation from trash to treasure and provide information on how to set up a recycling workspace.
