Shredder Why 3 different material thickness

Hi there,

I wonder, why 3 different material thicknesses are in use for the shredder
That makes the order at cutting-companies much more expensive.

I think a leightweight constuction is not prioroty, so whats the reason for
Is it possible to use just one?

I’m very good in construction in Sketchup and I can offer to contibute with designimprovement.

Anyhow, very good work, i’m really impressed of the making, documentation and the lively community!

@ganafets82 I know theres a difference in the spacers and the knives to make a smooth cutting flow with a .5 mm space. If it was the same thichness there it would quicly get hot becauese of recistance.
