Shredder motor supplier in Australia

Hi,

My project is on hold until I can get a shredder motor (which is so frustrating!).

Are there any Aussies on here who know of a supplier of electric motors that they would recommend?  I only have single phase at home so I am trying to find one that will have sufficient torque but runs on 1ph.

Simon- We have built a shredder to run on @$v, and found a grunty motor from https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/12-24v-dc-worm-drive-geared-motor-375w-nmrv.html

Basically, it seems you need something about 2kW or jamming becomes a problem.
