Cabinz CIC is a not for profit social enterprise in N. Wales , near Chester UK.
We sell & donate low cost , high quality new screws & fixings from split boxes, returns & clearance stock.

Our manufacturer suppliers are offering us much more than we can handle ourselves .
So we are looking to offer these to other creative groups of community groups both in Uk & EU initially. As it is a 500 kg crate we suggest groups club together’

Screw sorting has been used as therapy by mens sheds & autistic charities with us  (see crate pics at link )

We offer a plywood crate of approx. 500 kg that we pay £170 for inc vat & shipping to a Uk address. We charge £50 on top of this  to cover our labour costs, arranging delivery / storage of the crate .

Be aware that if these fixings were boxed and not mixed, they would cost many thousands of ££ pounds .

We have been offered £70 by a scrapyard for 500 kg , which shows the low cost they are being sold for at £220 to uk groups

We estimate shipping a crate to the Eu will be approx £170 – £200 + which needs to be added to this  £220

This a great opportunity to supply your groups with fixing for future use. We may consider shipping smaller quanitities

Edit: due to several enquiries about smaller quantities :

We can supply smaller quantites as samples, of which 24kg is a cheap p+ postage weight at £15.

These wil be charges at £1.50 a kg , so a 24 kg parcel will cost £36 + £15 = £51 Such heavy parcels require fixings to.be contained within a plastic tub inside a cardboard box.

To add to the meassage above, we have now been offered up to 20,000 new small carboard boxes for 6p -7p each to pack the screws in . We can offer these for sale as well.

Here we experiments to cut them in half / quarter with a reused plastic bottle window for selling them on .

We have been successfully selling screws & fixings for over a year now, selling to local contractors, diy’ers, community groups & donating to men in shed  and other groups. We have also sold successfully at local markets & car boot sales
